Emmaline Y. Edwards, 59, of 774 S. Grant St., Meadville, passed away Monday, November 26th, 2012 at home.
Emmaline was born in Meadville on September 21, 1953, a daughter of the late Edward E. and Sarah D. (Feltenberger) Overton.
On February 14, 1991 Emmaline married Cliff L. Edwards; he survives.
For several years Emmaline had been employed by PPG Industries. In her earlier years she volunteered with the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. She was a graduate of Meadville High School. Emmaline enjoyed painting ceramics and she was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
In addition to her husband, Cliff, with whom she spent over 40 years, Emmaline is survived by a daughter Emon Y. Edwards of Monroeville, four sisters Charlotte Overton Lucas and her husband Msg. Timothy Lucas of Perris, CA, Beverly Overton Johnson of Erie, Connie Overton Reed, JoAnn 'Vivian' Deeter both of Meadville, three brothers Edward E. Overton and his wife Sandra of Meadville, Bruce L. Overton and his wife Maxine of Albion, Greggory Overton of Palm Bay, FL, her step father Searcy Caldwell of Meadville, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Emmaline was preceded in death by a sister Joyce Overton Carlisle, three brothers Larry, Robert and Ron Overton.
A Memorial Service will be held at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012, with Berta Newsome Jones, Pastor of United Faith Fellowship Church, officiating.
