Ervin T. Yoder, 78, of 26349 Brunot Corners Rd. Cochranton went to be with his Savior, Thursday, July 17th, at his residence following a lengthy battle with Parkinsons Disease.
Ervin was born in LaGrange County, IN on August 29, 1935, a son of the late Tobias L. and Lydia (Miller) Yoder.
On April 1, 1958 Ervin married Clara Elizabeth Miller; she preceded him in death on September 16, 2013.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Ervin loved the Lord. A lifelong dairy Farmer whom in his retirement years enjoyed tinkering in his woodshop.
Ervin is survived by his children Wilma Yoder of the home, Nelson (Mary) Yoder of Cochranton, Laura (John) Weaver of Moore, MT, Ervin (Lydia) Yoder of Ossineke, MI, Timothy (Anna) Yoder of Evart, MI, Esther (Jacob) Weaver of Cochranton, Joanna (Jacob) Hershberger of Ossineke, MI, Clara Beth Yoder of the home, Toby (Esther) Yoder, Mark (Rebecca) Yoder both of Cochranton and 42 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 7 brothers and 11 sisters.
In addition to his parents and wife, Clara, of 55 years, Ervin was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Saturday, July 19 from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Nelson Yoder residence, 8115 Frenchtown Road, Cochranton, where the funeral will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 9:30 am with Bishop Abe Yoder, officiating.
Interment will take place in Frenchtown Amish Cemetery, Frenchtown.
