Esther E. Chambers

Esther E. Chambers, 63, of 20618 Alden St., Meadville, passed away Wednesday, October 6th, at UPMC Medical Center, Pittsburgh.
Esther was born in Pittsburgh, on December 9, 1946, a daughter of the late Fred and Eileen Johnston.
Over the years Esther had been employed by the former Eckerd Drug Store, the former D & K Store as an assistant manager and Sheetz. A graduate of Wilkinsburg High School in 1964, Esther was very talented in making crafts and enjoyed decorating her home for the different seasons and holidays. Her hobbies included doing crossword puzzles and she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Esthers greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.
Esther is survived by a daughter Melissa L. Samuels and her husband Jason of Meadville, two grandchildren Justin Foister and Natalie Samuels, a step-grandson Nathan Samuels and a niece Amber Mesko of Irwin.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Fritzie.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 2 - 4 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335 where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 4 PM with Rev. Kenneth Custer, Pastor of Saegertown United Methodist Church, officiating.
