Ethel E. Hoke

Ethel E. Hoke, 88, of Elverson, formerly of Meadville, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Hickory House Nursing Home, following an illness.
She was born in Meadville on Sept. 3, 1923. Ethel was the daughter of the late Ralph L. Sr. and Emma E. (Stokes) Stadler. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Hoke who died in 1988.
Ethel was a homemaker to her beloved family. She was a member of the Community Evangelical Free Church of Elverson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn L. Forest and a granddaughter, Katie Murdock.
Ethel is survived by a son, Curtis L. Hoke of Elverson, 2 daughters, Kathryn D. Murdock of Riverview, FL and Constance L. Boyd of Beaver Falls, Pa., a brother, Ralph L. Stadler, Jr. of Mt. Prospect, IL, a sister, Ralene McNeal of Columbus, OH. There are also 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 7, 2012, from 1:30-3:30 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM.
Interment will take place in Greendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Ethel to Joni and Friends International Disability Center, 340 Highland Drive, Suite # 200, Mountville, Pa. 17554.
