Eva J. Prenatt

Eva J. Prenatt, 84, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

Eva was born in Geneva, on September 15, 1935, a daughter of the late Clarence and Iva (Reagle) Smock.

On May 25, 1961 Eva married David J. Prenatt; he preceded her in death on July 15, 2004.

She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church.

For more than 30 years, Eva was employed in Quality Control for DIC Tool. She previously was employed by the former Spauldings and Talon, Inc. She attended Meadville schools and enjoyed gardening.

Eva is survived by a daughter Susan Pompa (Dennis) of Meadville; three granddaughters Cassandra Kruszewski (Billy), Edan and Amanda; three great grandchildren; two sisters Nancy Smock of Meadville, Sylvia Exley of Conneaut Lake; a brother George Smock of Meadville; a daughter in law Connie Prenatt; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, David, of 43 years, Eva was preceded in death by a son David Prenatt, her step father Roy Knipper, two brothers Edward Smock, William Smock, two sisters Patricia Baker and Mary Lou Smock.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 3-5 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held at 5 PM with Pastor Jerry Walton officiating. CDC guidelines will be followed.

Eva will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
