Evelyn Marie Trace

Evelyn Marie Trace, 86, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, passed away Friday, June 10th, 2011, at Meadville Medical Center.
Evelyn was born in Meadville on October 31, 1924, a daughter of the late William J. and Rhea Evelyn (DeVore) Consider.
Evelyn married Robert Trace; he preceded her in death on July 28, 1980.
A graduate of Meadville High School, Evelyn had been employed as a bookkeeper by WMGW Radio Station for several years before working as a secretary in the finance department of the former Weldons of Meadville. She was a WW II, US Navy veteran. After moving to California, Evelyn became employed by Bechtel Corp. Following her retirement from Bechtel Corp., she worked for the City of South Gate, CA, in the Finance Dept. After settling in the Hemet Retirement Community, she served as community treasurer and was active in sponsoring the community activities. Evelyn enjoyed gambling and traveling to Las Vegas.
Evelyn is survived by three nieces Donna Mays and her husband Bill of Franklin, Chris McCall and her husband Gary of Meadville, Diane Consider of Meadville, two nephews David Consider and his wife Cindy of Sharon, James Herman of California, several great nieces and nephews, a dear friend of many years Marilyn Cunningham of California as well as many other friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Robert, Evelyn was preceded in death by two sisters Eleanor Herman, Alice Cannon, a brother Paul A. Consider and a niece Marilyn Hines.
At the familys request, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville
