Faye Marion Anderson

Faye Marion Anderson, 88, of Meadville, formerly of Titusville, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Faye was born on August 25, 1936, in Pleasantville, a daughter of the late Ervie and Gertrude (Geltz) Pennell.

On June 10, 1967, Faye married Richard John Anderson; he preceded her in death on May 22, 2017.

Faye graduated from Titusville High School in 1954. Prior to her marriage she worked as a bookkeeper for the former Thompson Drug Store. Following her marriage, she enjoyed her role as a wife, mother and homemaker.

Three years ago, Faye relocated to Meadville, where she became a member of First Christian Church. Prior to this, she was an active member at Titusville Church of Christ.

Faye is survived by two children, Rose Marie Lauck (Roger) of Winchester, VA, and Robert Anderson (Irene) of Atlantic. She was blessed with seven grandchildren: Rachel Hyland (Joseph) of Lynchburg, VA, Andrew Lauck, Isaac Anderson Lauck, both of Winchester, VA, Gwen Waddell of Atlantic, Nathan Anderson of Nebraska, Audrey Haag (John) of Meadville, and Gladys Anderson of Atlantic. Faye took pride in her two great-grandchildren, Adeline Rose Hyland and James Jeffrey "J.J." Hyland, and she is further survived by a brother in law Jim McCurdy of Titusville.

A memorial service will be held on April 26, 2025, at 10 AM at Connect 55+, 637 Pine St., Meadville, with Robert McGuire, Pastor of First Christian Church. A light reception will follow.
