Flora "Stella" Roper

Flora "Stella" Roper, 83, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Meadville Medical Center, surrounded by her family that loved her dearly.

Stella was born in Meadville, on August 6, 1934 a daughter of the late Leo and Audrey (Stull) Lewis.

On May 6, 1969 Stella married Harold Roper; he preceded her in death on March 6, 2001.

Stella attended school in Meadville and was a member of First Christian Church. Her hobbies included listening to music and doing crafts. She was a skilled seamstress and blessed her family with hand made clothing to match one another. She had a way of making each of her nieces and nephew feel very special. She was much loved and will be sadly missed.

Stella is survived by a daughter Sharon Hunt of Erie, two brothers Floyd Lewis of Sandy Lake, Ronald Lewis of St. Petersburg, FL, a nephew Ronald, three nieces Laura, Maria, Cara, several great nieces and great nephews.

Services will be private.
