Francis "Frank" Kelly

After a strong and courageous battle with cancer, Francis "Frank" Kelly of Meadville was called to heaven on Saturday, August 19, 2017.

Frank was born in Meadville on April 20, 1951 to Robert and Beatrice (Schwabenbauer) Kelly, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Edmiston Kelly who he married on September 12, 2008, daughter Krista Katarski and her husband Wayne of Saegertown; son Shaun Kelly and his wife Rhonda of Meadville; grandchildren Michael Wellmon and his wife Amber, Chloee and Ally Cornell and Cameron Kelly. He is further survived by his sister Gloria Jeanne Paulitz and her husband Dan of Sharon, brother Bob Kelly of Meadville, brothers in law Jeff Edmiston of Elliotsburg, Jon Edmiston and his wife Patty of Saegertown, and many nieces and nephews. Frank is also survived by his first wife and friend Judy Rueter and her husband Bill.

Frank was employed as an Iron Worker for Local Union #348 for 38 years. As we say good bye to Frank, he would want to remind us to live life for today as we never know how many more tomorrows we may have and never forget to say "I love you."

As per Frank's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Instead a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date.
