Frank H. Brown, 95, of 20881 St. Hwy. 198, Saegertown, formerly of Meadville, passed away Saturday, October 20th, 2012 at Crawford County Care Center.
Frank was born in Utica on May 30, 1917, a son of the late Grover P. and Ethel M. (Dunn) Brown.
On May 22, 1953 Frank married Helen A. Wood Beebe; she preceded him in death on June 6, 1994.
After 43 years of service, Frank retired in May, 1982, from the former Talon, Inc. of Meadville where most of his career had been spent in the Experimental Dept. He was a four year veteran of WW II, having served two of those years in the Pacific Theater.
Frank is survived by a step daughter Janet Warden of Meadville, a step son-in-law F. Ernest Pardee of California, 10 step grandchildren Brenda Pardee, Beth Pardee Niles and her husband Charles, Michael Beebe, Deanna Bomholt, Robert Beebe, Barbara Jo McCracken, Debbie Thompson, Shelly Beebe, David Shafer, Margie Shafer, several step great and step great great grandchildren, a niece Janet Kistler, a great niece Jodi Kistler and two nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife Helen of 41 years, Frank was preceded in death by a step son Gary E. Beebe, a step daughter Barbara Pardee, a great grandson Storm Fox, two brothers Lauren F. Brown, James G. Brown, two sisters Eleanor L. Mitchell and Emma L. Brown.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date which will be announced.
Interment with Full Military Honors will take place in Lupher Chapel Cemetery, Venango County.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.
