G. Gly Maloney

G. Gly Maloney of 225 Lincoln Ave., Meadville, passed away Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 at Meadville Medical Center.
Gly was born in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Duffy) Wheat.
She married John W. Maloney; he preceded her in death.
Gly was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
For 25 years Gly was employed by the City of Meadville as a crossing guard. She was well known for her love of children and animals.
Gly is survived by a daughter Mary Theresa Tedesco and her husband John of Meadville, two grandchildren Joseph Tedesco and his wife Courtney, Holly Tedesco and her husband Todd Herrell and one great grandchild Rhys Herrell.
At the familys request there will be no visitation
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville, at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 18th, 2009 with Fr. Rocco Tito of St. Brigid officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, Meadville.
Memorial Contributions may be made to The Academy Theatre, 275 Chestnut St. or The Humane Society of Crawford County, 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd., both of Meadville, PA 16335.
