Gary E. Bosco

Gary E. Bosco, 71, of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Gary was born in Meadville, on April 27, 1953, a son of Sally (Brumbaugh) and the late Andrew Bosco Sr.

On May 12, 1973 Gary married Jean Marie Ferry; she preceded him in death on June 24, 2018.

For more than ten years, Gary and his wife Jean owned and operated Bosco's Restaurant and Bar. He had previously been employed by MFC for thirty years. He was a graduate of Meadville High School. Gary was a former member of Vernon Central Hose, VFW, American Legion and Meadville Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and spending time with his family and friends. 

Gary is survived by a son Jason Bosco (Michele) of Meadville; two grandchildren Braden and Jenna Bosco; his mother Sally Bosco of Meadville; three brothers Daryl Bosco (Rachel) and their children Nolan and Andrew, Mark Bosco both of Meadville, and Brian Bosco (Terri) of Florida and their children Tawnya and Kyle.

In addition to his father, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, of 45 years.

Private Services will be held at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES., INC. 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

Gary will be laid to rest with his wife, Jean, in St. Brigid Cemetery.
