Gary R. Mcnulty, Sr.

Gary R. McNulty, Sr., 82, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020, at home, surrounded by family.

Gary was born in Meadville on September 22, 1938, a son of the late George and Lucille (Young) McNulty.

On February 24, 2007 Gary married Joyce Randall; she survives. He had previously been married to Shirley J. Gibson and Nelly A. Wilkins-Froelicher, both predeceasing him.

He was an active member of Meadville Alliance Church where he served as an Elder and was a member of the Church Board.

On September 9, 1998 Gary retired from American General Life Insurance Company, where he had been an agent for 33 years. He had previously been employed by Frontier Homes and also as a salesman for Fuller Brush. A 1957 graduate of Meadville High School, Gary completed numerous insurance courses. He was a member of Gideons International, Life Underwriter Training Council Fellows (L.U.T.C.F.) and a former member of Crawford County Association of Life Underwriters. Gary was a faithful worker for the Meadville Soup Kitchen. He enjoyed traveling, dancing, working on home projects, and attending cars shows with his classic Buick. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Joyce Randall McNulty, Gary is survived by six children Daniel S. McNulty, Lynell K. Durish (John), James P. McNulty (companion Lisa Monnin) all of Meadville, Gary R. McNulty, Jr. (Donnell) of Espyville, William A. McNulty (Stefanie) of Centerville; step son Jesse Eppehimer of Conneaut Lake; eleven grandchildren Jason Durish (girlfriend Brook Wallen) and Steven Durish (fiance Chelsea Cusick), Jeromy, Brandon, Kyle, Connor, Cullen, and Melissa McNulty, Valerie Ridenour (Donald), Jesse Eppehimer II (fiance' Tiffany Furlong), Josie Wright, a brother Frank McNulty; sister in law Frances McNulty; brother in law Allen Gibson (Betty), sister in law Barbara Conner (Jim), brother in law Bill Randall (Julia); mother in law Anna Mae Randall; two great grandchildren Savanah Eppehimer, Charlotte Eppehimer; several nieces and nephews; and good friend and helper Lori Huber.

In addition to his parents and his former wives, Gary was preceded in death by two brothers Patrick McNulty, Robert McNulty; sister in law Patsy Yarnell, brother in law Raymond Yarnell, sister in law Dorothy McNulty and step daughter Juli Luikart.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 12, 2020, from 12-1 PM at Meadville Alliance Church, 660 N. Main St., Meadville, where Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM with Pastor Jeff Conley officiating. CDC guidelines, including social distancing and mask wearing, will be followed.

Gary will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
