George A. Yarnell

George A. Yarnell, 91, of 15191 State Hwy. 86, Meadville, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013, in Meadville, at the home of his niece, Nancy Nelson.

George was born in Woodcock Twp., on March 22, 1922, a son of the late George H. and Alice M. (Spaid) Yarnell.

He was a member of Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church, Saegertown.

George was a self employed dairy farmer in Woodcock Twp. from 1940 until his retirement in 1991. He had attended grade school at the Bethesda Home and High School in Diamond.

George is survived by two sisters Lois Donley of Poway, CA, Harriet Kidon of Meadville, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond A. Yarnell.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 22, from 4-6 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown, where Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM with Pastor Karen Lundwall officiating.

Interment will take place in Mt. Blair Cemetery, Woodcock Twp.
