George Edward Freeman, 71, of 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Meadville Medical Center.
George was born in Geneva, on November 19, 1944, a son of the late Clair B. and Eileen (Stilley) Freeman.
George had been married to Jane Marie Palmer.
He was of the Christian Faith and had attended church regularly.
For many years George was employed by the former TelePost up until the time of its closing. He attended Conneaut Lake Schools. He had served as a member of both the Hartstown and Saegertown Fire Police. An outdoors man, George was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially enjoyed the times spent with his son, George, teaching him how to hunt, fish and trap. There most fondest moments were spent racoon hunting. When he was no longer able to do either, he still enjoyed being outdoors, even just for a walk.
George is survived by a son George Howard Freeman and his wife Amy of Woodbine, GA, four grandchildren Chloe, Hunter, Conner, Olivia, and a brother Charles Freeman of Arizona.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a sister Carol.
