Giuseppe Volpe

Giuseppe Volpe, 64, of 737 Brawley Ave., Meadville, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at Meadville Medical Center.
Giuseppe was born in Partanna, Sicily on April 6, 1947, a son of the late Angelo and Antonia (Gioia) Volpe.
On September 25, 1993 Giuseppe married Mary Claire Totleben; she survives. He had previously married Yolanda Mazzotta who also survives.
In the mid 1960s Giuseppe came to the US as a teenager and became employed by Pellini Brothers Landscaping, then later by Metallurgical Exoproducts, Corp. In 2001 he very proudly became an American citizen. Giuseppe loved the the outdoors, the ocean, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife Mary of 17 years, Giuseppe is survived by two sons Joseph Volpe and his wife Amy, Angelo Volpe, both of Pittsburgh, two granddaughters Isabel and Sofia Volpe, a sister Rosetta Volpe and her husband Franco Ingoglia, a brother Francesco Volpe and his wife Serina both of Partanna, Sicily, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At the familys request, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
