Glenn C. Ament

Glenn C. Ament, 71, of 1120 Market St., Apt. 211, Meadville, passed away Saturday, May 26th, 2012 at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie.
Glenn was born in New Kensington on June 27, 1940, a son of the late Louis E. and Elva Jean (Stull) Ament.
On June 12, 1965, Glenn married Rita A. Cronhardt; she survives.
He was a member of the Jehovahs Witnesses.
A machinist, Glenn had been employed by different machine shops in the Pittsburgh area. He was a 1960 graduate of New Kensington High School and of New Kensington Vocational School. Glenn loved the outdoors. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. He was a member of many sportsman clubs in the Pittsburgh area.
In addition to his wife Rita of 46 years, Glenn is survived by six children Marc. C. Ament and his wife Judith of Conneaut Lake, Bruce A. Ament and his wife Teri of Slickville, Brian J. Ament and his wife Shelley of Leechburg, Tonya L. Riggs and her husband Scott of Cochranton, Matthew D. Ament of Tarentum, Brad L. Ament and his wife Gretchen of Leechburg, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister Lou Ann Ament of Canada, James N. Ament and his wife Esther of Leechburg, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by a grandchild Aaron Ament.
Services will be private at held at the convenience of the family.
