Harold "Art" Twombley

Harold "Art" A. Twombley, 69, of Saegertown, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018, at UPMC Hamot, Erie.

Art was born in Meadville, on July 8, 1949, a son of the late Hadley and Florence (Boyd) Twombley.

He was of the Presbyterian faith.

After more than 25 years of service, Art retired from Greenleaf Corporation, Saegertown. A Vietnam veteran, Art entered the US Army on April 17, 1969 and served his country honorably until his discharge on April 7, 1971. He was a 1967 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and a member of Venango VFW Post #169, Saegertown American Legion Post #205 and Cambridge Springs American Legion Post #381. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.

Art is survived by a daughter Chandra Mulidoro and her husband Anthony of Saegertown, three grandchildren Hunter, Chase, Avery, two foster daughters Sarena Gray, Jessica Gray, both of Meadville, five foster grandchildren Adryanna, Chyanne, Logan, Sophia, Chloe, a brother Kenneth Twombley and his wife Beverly of Cambridge Springs, a sister in law Karen Twombley of Fort Myers, FL, a niece Renee Spencer and her husband Mark, a nephew Scott Twombley and his wife Laurie.

In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by two brothers Donald Twombley and Sydney Twombley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date which will be announced.
