Harry Martin, 95, of Conneaut Lake, formerly of Meadville, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, on the day of his 45th wedding anniversary, at home with his family at his side.
Harry was born in Shermansville on September 9, 1929, a son of the late Frank and Ada (Evans) Martin.
On December 15, 1979 Harry married Patricia "Pat" Walworth; she survives. He had previously been married to Hazel Best.
He was a member of Reash Community Church, and over the years was affiliated with New Beginnings Church of God, Meadville and High Street Community Church, Conneaut Lake.
Along with his wife, Patricia, Harry was the owner and operator of the former Martin's Enterprises and Sunoco Station located on Route 322 for many years. A member of Gideons International, he had also been a member of the former Sunrise Kiwanis. His hobbies included golfing and traveling with his wife, Pat.
In addition to his wife Pat, Harry is survived by two children Dennis Martin (Patricia) of Salem, OH, Bonnie McDaniel (Joe) of Meadville, four step-children Robert Gordon III (Sally) of Belsano, Gene Gordon (Melinda) of San Antonio, TX, Brenda Prichard Wardon (Dennis) of Phoenix, AZ, Karla Prichard Morvay (Steve), of Madison, AL, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Harry was preceded in death by his great granddaughter Grace R. Mast, a sister Dorothy Atkins, five brothers Virgil Martin, Robert Martin, Walter Martin, Howard Martin and James Martin.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 11-12 at Reash Community Church, 4931 US Hwy. 19, Cochranton, where a Celebration of Life Service will follow at noon with Pastor Nate Bailey, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reash Community Church, 4931 US Hwy. 19, Cochranton, PA 16314.
