Hazel A. Bonzer

Hazel A. Bonzer, 93, of 745 Greenville Rd., Mercer, formerly of 150 E. 42nd St., Erie, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Avalon Springs, Mercer.

Hazel was born in Hayfield Twp., on March 7, 1922, a daughter of the late Otto and Dorothy (Coon) Andrews.

She was a member of Grandview Alliance Church, Erie.

After 37 1/2 years of service, Hazel retired from the General Electric Company of Erie. She had previously been employed by the former Talon, Inc. and McCrosky Tool, both in Meadville. She was a member of the GE Secretaries Club, the GE Quarter Century Club, the Retirees Association of GE (RAGE) as well as a member of the Wesley Center Keenager's Senior Group.

Hazel is survived by a niece Renea (Andrews) Smith and her husband Sam, their two sons Joel and Jarrett, Renea's mother Wilma McQuiston all of Mercer, three nephews Dr. Gary Mook of California, his two sons Eric and Jason, Rev. Lyle Mook and his wife Mary of Rhode Island, their four children Andrew and his wife Corrie, Stephen and his wife Lindsay, Nathan and his wife Theresa and Katherine Mook, Professor Dr. Lorne Mook of Taylor University, Indiana, and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by a brother Howard Andrews, a sister Elpha (Andrews) Mook and her husband, Wallace.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 11-1 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown, where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, with John Hall, Pastor of Grandview Alliance Church amd Chaplain of Heartland Hospice, officiating.

Hazel will be laid to rest on the Andrews Family plot in Rundeltown Cemetery, Conneautville.
