Henry "Diddy" Jones

Henry “Diddy” Jones, 69, of Meadville, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Embassy of Park Avenue, Meadville.

Henry was born in Coldwater, MS on January 1, 1956 the son of the late Matt and Carie B. “Madea” Jones. 

Henry was a hard worker who worked at Valesky’s for many years and as a factory worker. He loved to put a SMILE on your face. He enjoyed telling jokes, working on bicycles, and listening to Dolomite. 

Henry is survived by three children Cameo Stockwell, Twana Wofford both of Jamestown, NY and Henry Jones Jr. of Meadville; siblings Ernestine Jones of Columbus OH, Lawrence Jones of Memphis TN; Mattie Boyd (Truman), Lula Jones, Mary Jones all of Meadville; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; fifteen nieces and nephews; a host of great nieces and great nephews and friends who he loved deeply. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Lessie Cathey.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 10-11 AM at United Faith Fellowship Church, 561 State St., Meadville, where a Home Going Service will follow at 11 AM.

The family deeply appreciates the kind expressions of sympathy, the prayers and the acts of kindness during this difficult time.
