Irene R. Coon

Irene R. Coon, 91, of 502 E. Howard St., Bellefonte, formerly of Conneaut Lake, passed away Thursday, November 18th, 2010 at Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte.
Irene was born in Cochranton on February 21, 1919, a daughter of the late Elmer and Katherine Barnhart Reisinger.
Irene married Carman D. Coon; he preceded her in death in 1972.
While living in Conneaut Lake, she was a member of Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake.
Irene had been employed by Crawford County in the Prothonotarys office of the Court House.
Irene is survived by a daughter Mary Jayne Kitt and her husband Bernie of State College, a sister Hazel of Cleveland, OH, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Carman, Irene was preceded in death by a son Michael D. Coon, two brothers Ed, Russell, three sisters Bernice, Grace and Mary.
Family and friends are invited to call Saturday from 12-2 at Stephen P Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335 where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 20th, 2010 with Rev. Mark Frailey, Pastor of Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake, officiating.
Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
