J. Tracy Palmiero, Sr.

J. Tracy Palmiero, Sr., 66, of Guys Mills, passed away Friday, May 27th, 2011, at Meadville Medical Center.
Tracy was born in Meadville on September 13, 1944, a son of Betty (Marska) Palmiero and the late Henry Palmiero.
On June 12, 1965, Tracy married Pamela Woodruff; she preceded him in death on January 1, 2010.
For more than 35 years, Tracy was a self-employed electrician in the Meadville area. He had also been employed as an millwright for R.D. Warner. He was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. An entrepreneur, Tracy was a real estate investor and, over the years, had owned and maintained several rental properties. He was knowledgeable not only in electrical work but also in many other areas; he was truly a jack of all trades. A huge fan of Duke Basketball, Tracy also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended church with his family. Tracys greatest accomplishment was always putting family first. A devoted caregiver, he was a pioneer in administering home dialysis for his wife. He will be remembered as a most loving husband, dad and papa.
Tracy is survived by a son Joseph Tracy Palmiero, Jr. and his wife Brandy L., a daughter Lisa Palmiero and Don Jackson, six grandchildren Madison Palmiero, Casey Jackson, Connor Palmiero, Molly Jackson, Brenna Palmiero, Arianna Palmiero, his mother Betty Palmiero, all of Meadville, two brothers Larry Palmiero and his wife Pat of Meadville, Ken Palmiero and his wife Cheryl of Tampa, FL, several nieces and nephews,
In addition to his wife Pamela of 44 years and his father, Tracy was preceded in death by a brother Jim Palmiero.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 1st, 2011, with Pastor J. Temple Jarrell of New Beginnings Church of God, Meadville, officiating.
Interment with full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006, will take place in Blooming Valley Cemetery, Blooming Valley.
