Jacklynn "Jackie" M. Donaldson

Jacklynn "Jackie" M. Donaldson, 68, of Meadville, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024, at Meadville Medical Center. 

Jacklynn was born in Meadville, on July 16, 1955, a daughter of the late Jack Donaldson and the late Philamena (Saputo) Donaldson Furno.

She was of the Catholic faith and had attended The Epiphany of the Lord Parish.  

A 1973 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School, Jackie went on to attend Edinboro College before moving to Falls Church, VA.  There, she became known as a talented singer songwriter who spent several years in the Washington, DC area playing numerous venues with a band called The Ones. Upon her return to Meadville, she was employed in the law office of Attorney Harry White and later became a freelance proofreader.  She was a member of the Italian Civic Club (ICC).  She loved her dogs and had a knack for writing poetry, but her passion was music.  Her melodic voice will not be forgotten, 

Jackie is survived by a sister JoAnn Badagliacca, a half brother Jeff Donaldson, and many cousins.

A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 6, 2024, at The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Fr. Jeff Lucas, Pastor, officiating.
