James Dale Smith

James Dale Smith, 75, of 11503 Dawn Dr. Meadville, passed away Friday, February 3rd, 2012 at home.
James was born in Pittsburgh, on November 4, 1936, a son of the late James Francis and Grace (Webb) Smith.
He was the husband of Lorraine Rachel (McChesney) Smith.
Jameswas a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
He served in the U.S. Navy from August 17, 1955 until his honorable discharge on August 11, 1957.
In addition to his wife Lorraine, James is survived by a son Brendan Smith of Grove City,a daughter Caron L. Carter of Paducah, KY and five grandchildren.
A private Mass of Christian Burial, followed by Full Military Honors, will be celebrated at St. Brigid Church, Meadville, with Fr. Johnathon Schmolt, Pastor, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 1087 Park Ave. Meadville, PA 16335.
