Janet Lee (Phares) Neal, 66, of Meadville, passed away at home.
Janet was born in Meadville, on April 16, 1958, a daughter of the late John and Anna Mae (Choffel) Phares.
Janet was employed by Dick Tool and then went to work for Wal-Mart. In her younger years she volunteered as a Candy Striper for the former Spencer Hospital. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, but her greatest enjoyment came from the time she spent with her family. She will be missed.
Janet is survived by her daughter Kristy Neal and her spouse Kevin Manross, three grandchildren Lynn Neal and her spouse David Lane, Kayleigh Manross, Cheyenne Manross and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents John and Anna Mae Phares Janet was preceded in death by her son Paul David Neal, brother Michael John Phares and an infant brother John Michael Phares.
Private services will be held.
