Jason David Gould, 45, of Carlton, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015.
Jason was born in Meadville, on October 2, 1970, a son of Susan (Neal) Gould and David C. Gould.
Jason attended Cochranton Schools where he played football. He had been employed by Kurtz Steel Co., owned and operated ABC Surplus on Route 322 and most recently was employed by DeSantis Janitor Supply Co. He enjoyed kayaking and fishing with his friends. He especially loved fishing with his nephews. Jason possessed a keen sense of humor along with a kind and tender heart which touched many lives. He was passionately loyal to his family and friends. Knowing when they needed him the most, he never failed to be there for them, offering anything he could. He left everyone he knew with an unforgettable impression. He will be sadly missed by all of his family, friends and co-workers.
Jason is survived by his mother Susan Neal Gould, father David Gould and his wife Judy, two brothers Gregory Gould and his wife Darlene of Cochranton, Patrick Gould and his wife Michelle of Linesville, three nephews Hayden Patrick, Brady William, Hunter Daniel, cousins Michael and Jeffrey Potts of Erie, John and Christopher Meanor of Virginia, Drinda Smith, Jennifer Ferko, Colin and Kevin Meanor of Punxsutawney, Denny Stuchell of Pittsburgh, two aunts Arlene Potts of Erie, Bonnie Stuchell of Punxsutawney, a step brother James Bradley of Albion and a step sister Kimberly Hoffman and her husband Kenneth of Meadville. He is also survived by his special friends Mike and Missy Slabaugh and their son Max.
Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Otto and Margaret Neal, paternal grandparents August and Dorothy Gould, an aunt Nancy Meanor, three cousins Jonathan Stuchell, Luke Smith and Joel Riggleman.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
Family and friends are also invited to call on Monday from 1-2 at Cochranton Community Church, 3993 E. Church St., Cochranton, where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM with Dave Brumagin officiating.
Jason will be laid to rest in Cochranton Cemetery.
