Jason L. Cote

Sgt. Jason Cote, 40, of Meadville, (10/01/1980-06/27/2021) born in Wilkes-Barre, passed away unexpectedly at home.

Jason loved the outdoors which led him to the career he loved with the Army Corps of Engineers.  Prior to his dream job he attended high school at Wyoming Valley West in Plymouth, then graduated with a bachelor's and a master's from Slippery Rock University.  Jason served in the U.S. Army from 2006-2009 and also spent one term in Iraq.  Jason also loved watching and attending games for the Pittsburgh Penguins and the NY Yankees.

Jason is survived by his parents Sheila Cote of W. Pittston, Kevin Cote (Dorothy) of Hunlock Creek; wife Julie Kircher Cote of Sharon; siblings Kevin Cote (Nicole) of Delaware,  Kimberly Cote (fiance Eric Sandroski) of Kingston, and Ian Cote (Leslie) of Nanticoke; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew.  Jason is also survived by his beloved dog Indy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced by family and Army Corps of Engineers at a later date.
