Jeanette Petruso

Jeanette Petruso, 93, of 31 N. Park Ave,. Meadville, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

Jeanette was born in Derby, CT on November 11, 1919, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Cancara) Quindardo.

On April 15, 1952 Jeanette married Dominic S. Petruso; he preceded her in death on November 1, 2009.

She was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.

Jeanette had been employed by Quality Markets in the meat department. She was a graduate of Derby High School in Connecticut. She loved to cook and was an outstanding baker.

Jeanette is survived by a sister Louise Cervone of Meadville, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Dominic of 57 years, Jeanette was preceded in death by a sister Marion Petruso and a brother Dominick D. Quindardo.

At the families request, there will be no public visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, with Fr. Marc Solomon, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, PA 16335.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
