Jeffery S. Battles, 55, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his family following a valiant four-year fight with cancer.

Jeff was born in Meadville, on May 20, 1969, son of the late Herman and Velma (Reichel) Battles.

On July 8, 1995 he married his beloved Alice Morian; she survives.

He is also survived by his daughter Kylee Kehl (Kane) of Saegertown, his son Logan Battles (Maddy Corner) of Mentor, OH, and his daughter Maggie Battles of Conneaut Lake. Additionally he is survived by his father in law Terry Morian of Conneaut Lake; aunt and uncle Laurie and Dale Johnston of Meadville; and numerous other cherished family members and friends.

Graduating from Saegertown High School in 1987, Jeff went on to earn Engineering Degrees from Penn State University and Edinboro University. Jeff was very passionate about tool and die as well as plastics manufacturing. After time at C & J Industries, Precision Mold, and Micro Tool, Jeff started Lakeland Precision at the age of 21, where he worked for nearly 30 years before becoming a partner at Micro Tool & Plastics.

Jeff was active at Lake Church and humbly served his Savior placing his faith in the grace of Jesus. He loved boating and skiing on Conneaut Lake, traveling, especially to Myrtle Beach, visiting wineries, listening to music and asking his friends to share their "song of the day", golfing and playing Yatzee. He also loved his dog Sophie, as well as cars, motorcycles, and all things tech. He impacted many young lives over the years volunteering as coach, leader and mentor to countless kids. Most of all, Jeff loved his family. It would be an understatement to say that they were his life.

Jeff and his family would like to thank the outstanding staff from Cleveland Clinic, Virginia Cancer Specialists/NEXT Oncology and the Exon 20 ICAN group for their unwavering care and support.

Family and friends are invited to call from 12:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at STEPHEN P.
