Jeffrey "Jeff" A. Acker

Jeffrey "Jeff" A. Acker, 51, of 3593 W. Center Road, Linesville, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Meadville Medical Center.

Jeff was born in Meadville on April 26, 1963, a son of the late George R. and Virginia (Kaputa) Acker, Sr.

On November 7, 2014 Jeff married Patricia A. Ruhl; she survives.

He was of the Methodist Faith.

For the past several years Jeff owned and operated Acker Transporting, where he prepared sites for and set mobile homes. He had previously been employed by Country Side Herb Farm, Conneautville, for a period of five years. Prior to that Jeff was employed for 10 years setting mobile homes for the former Pat and Pete's Mobile Home Sales, and he had done the same at Hayfield Estates for an additional 10 years. He attended Saegertown schools. Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, Jeff is survived by four children Jeffrey Acker and his wife Carrie of Conneaut Lake, April Andrews of Meadville, Rebecca Acker, Matthew Acker both of Meadville, five step children Robert Proper and his wife Jen of Venango, Roy Proper and his companion Holly of Saegertown, Roger Proper and his fiance' Kassandra of Cambridge Springs, Ray Proper, Richard Proper both of Linesville, 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a sister Lori A. Jones and her companion Harold Hayes of Saegertown, a brother George R. Acker, Jr. and his wife Jean of Venango, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by a sister Brenda Acker.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, April 12, from 2-6 PM and Monday, April 13, from 10-11 AM at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad Street, Saegertown. where Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM with Rev. James Callender, Pastor of First Church of God, Cambridge Springs, officiating.
