John A. Blasinski

John A. Blasinski, 64, of 11350 Pettis Road, Meadville, passed away Friday, April 27th, 2012 at Meadville Medical Center.
John was born in Youngstown, OH, on February 21, 1948, a son of Valeria (Krzysiak) Blasinski and the late Walter S. Blasinski.
On February 20, 1971 John married Lynn M. Baumgardner; she survives.
He was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
Following his 1966 graduation from Meadville High School and up until the present time, John was employed by Pennsylvania Tool and Gages, Inc., Meadville. John enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, working on projects around his house, and helping others. In his earlier years, he enjoyed bowling. John always took pride in his work and providing for his family. What John enjoyed most was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Lynn of 41 years, John is survived by a son Jeffrey J. Blasinski and his wife Angela of Dublin, OH, a daughter Christina M. Blasinski of Erie, two grandchildren Anna Grace, Evan Jeffrey, his mother Valeria Blasinski of Meadville, two sisters Patricia Orr and her husband Richard of Saegertown, Linda Blasinski of Oakland Park, FL, five nephews and two nieces.
In addition to his father, Walter S. Blasinski, John was preceded in death by an infant sister Bernice.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4-8 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a scripture service will be conducted at 4:30.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012, with Fr. Matthew Kujawinski, Pastor of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
