CMSGT John Adam Lehman, Sr., 83, of Meadville, PA, passed away peacefully February 14, 2024.
John was born July 24, 1940, in Meadville, to the late John and Elizabeth Lehman of Conneautville.
John is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Norma "Jean"; daughters Michelle Mork (Greg) of MI, Brenda Mathis (Marvin) of AR, Linda Breton (Bob) of MA; daughter in law Denise Lehman of PA; brother Jim Lehman of AZ; sisters Barbara Lehman and Mary Chapman (Jim) of PA; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son John Adam Lehman, Jr.; and brothers Frank, George, and Larry.
An active member of St. Brigid Church, John served as a lectern and worked in the church office.
John proudly served his country in the US Air Force for 29 years. His family was his biggest source of pride and joy.
Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7 PM on Monday, February 19, 2024, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, with a Scripture Service at 6:30 PM.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 10 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Brigid Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, with Fr. Kyle Seyler officiating.
John will be laid to rest in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville, with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006.
Memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to The American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Ave., Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
