John Daniel Longstreth

John Daniel Longstreth, 53, of Meadville, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at home.

John was born in Meadville, August 28, 1968, a son of Judith (Wayland) and the late Scott A. Longstreth.

Growing up, John attended St. Paul's church, where he was baptized.

A 1987 graduate of Meadville High School, John had worked in lawn maintenance and in the grocery industry. He had been employed by the former County Market and more recently at Valesky's in Meadville. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed following the Pittsbugh Steelers. He loved the rock band Kiss, attended many of their concerts, and passed the love of their music onto his son, John.

John is survived by a son John Alexander Longstreth (girlfriend Angela Hinshaw); his mother Judith Longstreth; his sister Heidi Wermlinger; two nieces Jessica Wermlinger, Hannah Kramer and her daughter Gabby; and his companion Rachael Bahle all of Meadville.

A memorial will be held at JT'S Steamtable Restaurant, 217 Chestnut St., Meadville, on Saturday, February 19th, from 11am-4pm.
