John E. Pritchard

John E. Pritchard, 85, of 252 Jefferson St., Meadville, passed away Sunday, June 27th, 2010 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.
John was born in Hagerstown, MD on June 11, 1925, a son of the late Dewey and Wanda (Masterson) Pritchard.
On September 30, 1967, John married Polly M. Zuzolo; she survives.
He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, Meadville.
Since 1970 John has been employed as a real estate appraiser, He began selling real estate in the 1960s and soon after established Pritchard Realtors. A 1943 graduate of Meadville High School, John entered the US Army on February 15, 1946 and served his country honorably until his discharge on July 24, 1947. During this time he earned the rank of Sergeant. John was a 32nd Degree Mason. He served as a Board Member of Northwest Savings Bank, was a member of the Meadville Elks, Taylor Hose and a former member of the Meadville Country Club. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed golfing and bowling.
In addition to his wife Polly of 42 years, John is survived by four children John L. Pritchard, Chon Pritchard both of Meadville, Debbie Sandy of Erie, Kandice Pust of Willoughby, OH, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, will be held at a future date which will be announced.
