Johnella Cummings

Johnella Cummings, 54, of 19739 Forest Green Apts., Apt. #307, Meadville, passed away Monday, January 27th, 2014 at home.

Johnella was born in Memphis, TN on June 27, 1959, a daughter of Georgia (Barber) Cummings and the late Robert Cummings, Sr.

Johnella was an active member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness, Meadville. She was employed as a counselor at Cerro Coso Community College, Ridgecrest, CA. Johnella enjoyed crocheting, shopping, reading the Bible but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Johnella is survived by four daughters Katictrice L. Barnes, Latasha Pruitt-Driver and her husband Frankie, Shinika Pruitt, Shantina Gaters, all of Memphis, TN, nine grandchildren, her mother Georgia Cummings of Meadville, six sisters Willie-Ruth Stout and her husband Richard of Meadville, Emma-Jean Buggs of Erie, Tina Wofford and her husband Larry, Demetrius Ward-Manley and her husband George, all of Meadville, Bertha Eggleston of Memphis, TN, Beverly Williams of Meadville, three brothers Larry Cummings, Michael Cummings both of Meadville, Melvin Cummings of Memphis, TN, her God son Orlando Benson of Jamaica, NY, a special friend Randy Stout of Memphis, TN, the father of her children Arlandis Pruitt of China Lake, CA, three nieces, 12 nephews, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Johnella was preceded in death by her father Robert Cummings, Sr. and a brother Robert Cummings, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7 on Friday, February 7, 2014, at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday at Jehovahs Witness Kingdom Hall, 15315 Harmonsburg Rd., Meadville, with Matt Timmons, officiating.

Johnella will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
