Joyce Larue Naples, 88, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.  She had battled leukemia and was in remission.
 
Joyce was born in Greenville, on February 22, 1933, a daughter of the late Howard A. and Irene A. (Henry) Bish.
 
On August 19, 1950 Joyce married Anthony N. Naples, Sr.; he preceded her in death on January 11, 2007.
 
Joyce enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. She enjoyed redecorating to make their house a home and she was never one to remain idle.  After having five of her children, she finished her education to earn her high school diploma.  Joyce enjoyed being outdoors doing landscaping work as well as playing badminton.  She also enjoyed traveling, and would jump at the chance to join in on family road trips.    She also loved visiting casinos.  She had a deep appreciation for the art of quilting. She also enjoyed art, architecture and was a garage sale queen.   She was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2006; she was also a former member of The Travel Club and Conneaut Lake Fire Hall.  Joyce and her husband Tony are remembered by many for their love of dancing.  Joyce will be most remembered for her loving heart, adventurous spirit and sense of humor.  She will be missed.
 
Joyce is survived by four children Steven Naples of Edinboro, Sally Naples of Columbus, OH, Sherri Rhoades and her good friend Tim Rhoades of Meadville, Anthony N. Naples, Jr. of CA; eight grandchildren; Coleen, Carrie, Cosha, Benjamin, Alex, Jessica, Tyler, Sabastian; four great grandchildren Noah, Thomas, Tucker and Alivia.
 
In addition to her parents and her husband, Anthony, of 56 years, Joyce was preceded in death by her son Michael Naples and an infant son, John Howard Naples.
 
Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, May, 18, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST.,MEADVILLE, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday with Pastor Sam Marchetta, Chaplain of Wesbury, officiating.

Joyce will be laid to rest next to her husband, Anthony, in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Township.
