Judy A. Ennis

Judy A. Ennis, 66, of 19598 Route 6 & 19, Saegertown, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

Judy was born in Greenfield, MA on January 8, 1951, a daughter of the late Henry J. and Mary C. (Godlesky) Brzezinski.

On May 12, 1973, Judy married Gerald "Jerry" L. Ennis; he preceded her in death on July 18, 2011.

After more than 35 years of service, Judy retired from Meadville Forging Company. She began working in the Payroll Department in 1973 and worked her way to Personnel Manager. She was a 1969 graduate of Greenfield High School. Judy enjoyed walking, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards with her son, Nick, visiting the casinos and reading fiction novels especially those of Harlan Coben, Lisa Jackson and James Patterson. She was a member of Meadville American Legion Post #205 and loved stopping in daily.

Judy is survived by a son Nicholas A. Ennis of Saegertown, a step son Jerry L. Ennis and his wife Heather of Burlington, KY, two step grandchildren Devin and Reagan, a sister Jane Perry and her husband Michael of Canaan, CT, a nephew Marc Perry, his son Ryan Perry, a niece Sara Hosford and her husband Kevin, their son Cooper Hosford who adored his Aunt Judy, a half brother Douglas Baker and his wife Maria of Springfield, MA, a sister in law Suzanne Jackson and her husband Perry of Meadville, their two children Tiffany Belovarac of Erie, Lindsey Jackson of Hagerstown, MD, Tiffany's two children Alex Sweetapple, Madison Rhoads, her three dogs Maggie, Moe and Baby.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, of 38 years.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, February 27, 2017, from 5-7 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
