Judy Carol Lilley

Judy Carol Lilley, 72, of 20881 Route 198, Saegertown, originally from Cambridge Springs, and formerly a long time resident of Meadville, went to be with her Lord and heavenly family on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
 
Judy was born in Canonsburg, to the late William (Bill) and Mildred (Mitchell) Lyons on September 5, 1944 -- always remembering her date of birth by responding 9/5/44 when asked by her wonderful caretakers before taking her medicine, .
 
On April 2, 1966 Judy married George Edward Lilley; he preceded her in death.
 
She was a proud member of God's family, attending Cornerstone Church of God.
 
For many years, Judy had been employed by numerous local hospitals, nursing homes and colleges in the housekeeping or dietary departments.  She was a graduate of Cambridge Springs High School, Class of 1964,  a former Girl Scout Leader, and a member of the Navy's Mother Club.   Her hobbies and interests included making crafts, playing BINGO, going to the casinos and in her later years enjoyed giving orders to the nursing staff.  Judy will be remember as a an individual who loved life, her unforgettable squeal letting everyone know she could not contain God's love; making others happy, dancing the Polka, and doing the twist. Her greatest pleasure was sneaking away to spoil her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 
Judy is survived by a daughter Tammy Lyons of Erie, five grandchildren John Edward Fortes, Becky Lilley, David Lilley, Jr., Tayler (Ried) Moses, Anthony James (A.J.) Moses, many great grandchildren, Jill Emmager a close friend, who was like a daughter, several nieces and nephews. 
 
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by three sons David, Don, and John (Robbie) Lilley, a sister Shirley Lyons Weaver, and three brothers Frank (Sonny), James (Jim) and George Lyons.
 
At Judy's request there will be no visitation, but a celebration in honor of life.
 
A Spaghetti dinner, provided by Judy, will be held at Cornerstone Church of God, 18320 Conneaut Lake Road Meadville, on Saturday, March 25th from 11:00 - 2:00  where there will be a time of sharing and celebrating Judy's life.  Please RSVP to the church by calling 336-1889 by Wednesday, March 22, 2017.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Church of God, 18320 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville, PA 16335.
