Julie Eileen Riley, 55, of 21687 N. Mosiertown Rd., Saegertown, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Meadville Medical Center.
Julie was born at the former Meadville City Hospital, on April 24, 1959, at 10:54 PM, six minutes after her twin brother, Jeffrey. She was a daughter of Marjorie (Crabb) and the late Russell Hannold.
On August 24, 2012 Julie married David A. Riley; he survives.
Julie had been employed by Heartfelt Home Healthcare Services, Inc., Meadville. In prior years she had been employed by Meadville Medical Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Liberty Street and on the second floor at Grove Street, by Cambridge Springs Health and Rehab and Rolling Fields. She was a member of the former State Road Hill Methodist Church and a former member of the Meadville Eagles Club. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who were the center of her life. From the time she was a small child, Julie had a generous heart. She will be remembered for her generosity and beautiful soul.
In addition to her husband, David, Julie is survived by three children Ian Hannold of Oil City, Leiah Shongo of Meadville, Trisha Bish and her husband Jarod of Saegertown, five step children Jason Riley of New York State, Casey Riley of Cochranton, Malissa Riley of Saegertown, Chad Barker of Guys Mills, Jerod Rodgers of Meadville, thirteen grandchildren Dillon, Gavin, Page, Colton, Madison, Elise, Chad, Jr., Madison, Logan, Carson, Carleigh, Andrew, Landon, her mother Marjorie Mazick of Meadville, her mother in law Pearl Schneider and her husband Raymond of Conneaut Lake, two brothers Brian R. Hannold, her twin Jeffrey Hannold and his wife Lora both of Meadville, her beloved pets Brinnie, Izzy, and Shinna, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Russell Hannold, Julie was preceded in death by a brother Daniel M. Hannold and her step father Bill Mazick.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 10, 2014, from 9:30-11:00 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral services will be held at 11:00 with Deacon Harvey McQueen of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church officiating.
Julie will be be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
