June B. Miller

Mrs. June Bedell Miller, 89, of 339 E. Jamestown Rd., Greenville, formerly of 8841 Oak Drive, Meadville, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017, at St. Paul's Nursing Home, Greenville.

June was born in Brooklyn, PA, on April 1, 1928, the daughter of the late Carlton and Helen (Ely) Bedell.

On September 5, 1949 June married Glenn D. Miller; he preceded her in death on October 29, 2016.

June was a full time homemaker who had worked part time as a beautician in her earlier years. She attended Franklin schools before graduating from Rocky Grove in 1946 and continued her education by graduating from the former Fellers Beauty School, Oil City in 1947. A member of First Presbyterian Church, Meadville, her hobbies included making crafts, working puzzles, traveling, especially to Alaska. June's greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family who was very important to her.

June is survived by a daughter Glenda Tickerhoof of Lake Milton, OH, a son Scott Miller and his wife Julie of Greenville, five grandchildren Steven Tickerhoof and his wife Brenda, Daniel Tickerhoof, Christine Whiteleather and her husband Reed, Kory Miller, Kara Miller, seven great grandchildren Tiffani, Maria, Taylor, Alisha, Steven Jr., Stephanie, Jezerea and one great great grandson, Johnny.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Glenn, of 67 years, June was preceded in death by a granddaughter Rebecka Tickerhoof, a great grandson Caleb and a son-in-law Lloyd Tickerhoof.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Anderson Fellowship Hall at St. Paul's, 339 E. Jamestown Rd., Greenville, with Chaplain, Julia Fraser, officiating.

Interment will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
