Goodbyes hurt the most when the story is not finished, join us in celebrating the life of Karen Lynn Spinnato, 56, of 18504 Price Road Saegertown, who passed away suddenly Thursday, January 26th, at her home.
Karen was born in Pittsburgh, on August 6, 1960, a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Patricia Mildred (Noey) Inserra, Jr.
On July 2, 1983 Karen married Scott P. Spinnato, Sr., he survives.
She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church.
Following Karen's graduation from Meadville Area Senior High School in 1980, she continued her education by earning her C.N.A. Certificate from the Crawford County Vocational School. Over the years Karen was employed in the health care field and worked for Wesbury United Methodist Community, Beverly Enterprise, the Crawford County Care Center, Vantage and most recently for Meadville Medical Center in the T.C.U. Karen's greatest joy came from being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved being with her family hosting dinners and parties. Known as Grandma Boots she loved baking with her grandchildren, having them for sleepovers, spoiling them and caring to all of their needs. She had a smile that could light up the room, a contagious spirit of love and laughter, she had a true appreciation for candy, cooking and animals. She will be missed by all that knew her, but her love will remain in her families hearts forever.
In addition to her husband Scott of 33 years, Karen is survived by her 3 loving children Scott P. Spinnato, Jr. and his wife Kelin, Christina M. Dean and her husband Jerrod both of Meadville, Joseph J. Spinnato of Saegertown, seven beautiful grandchildren Logan, Lorna, Mackenzie, Jory, Hayden, Lilli, Addisyn, three sisters Jody Lambert and her husband Larry of Meadville, Sandy Stirling and her husband Bill of Saegertown, Maggie Armstrong and her husband Glenn of Guys Mills, five brothers Paul Inserra and his wife Meredith of NC, Thomas Inserra and his wife Lureen of OK, George Inserra and his wife Kathy of Saegertown, James Inserra of Meadville, Pete Inserra and his wife Lori of Greenville, numerous nieces and nephews.
