Kathleen "Kathy" J. Mosbacher, 81, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Meadville Medical Center.
Kathy was born in Pittsburgh, on March 5, 1942, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mildred (Smith) Romoska.
On November 4, 1967 she married Bernard "Bernie" Mosbacher; he preceded her in death on November 21, 2021.
She was a member of St. Agatha Church.
Kathy was a graduate of Turtle Creek High School, Pittsburgh. In her earlier years she was employed by Westinghouse Air Brake Company in Pittsburgh for a period of four years, until she was married and became a full time homemaker. Over the years she had done light house cleaning for various families. She was a former member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas and had served as Regent. She enjoyed doing ceramics, knitting and working with the Democratic party. Her family was very important to her and she loved them deeply.
Kathy is survived by a son Steven Mosbacher of Meadville; four grandchildren Brandon, Kyle, Lacey and Sarah Mosbacher.
In addition to her parents, and her husband, Bernie, of 54 years, Kathy was preceded in death by a sister Jean Romoska.
Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Scripture Service will be held at 6:30.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 7, at The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Agatha Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville with Jeff Lucas, Pastor, officiating.
Kathy will be laid to rest next to her husband, Bernie, in St. Agatha Cemetery.
