Kathleen "Kathy" R. Burnett

Kathleen "Kathy" R. Burnett, 71, of 8520 Franklin Pike, Meadville, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019, at home.

Kathy was born in Meadville, on March 16, 1948, a daughter of the late William and Merigene (Randall) Pyle.

On October 27, 1973 Kathy married Paul C. Burnett; he survives.

Before her 1966 graduation from Meadville High School, Kathy worked for the former Bowen Laundry. She furthered her education by taking courses in Natural Science and Math from Edinboro State College. For 18 years, Kathy worked for Bossier Parish School System, Bossier, Louisiana. She enjoyed reading, spending time on the computer and spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy will be remembered for being a loving, hard working and caring homemaker for over 43 years. Her dedication to her family will not be forgotten.

In addition to her husband Paul of 45 years, Kathy is survived by twin daughters Meghan Ghani and her husband Nadeem of Karachi, Pakistan, Meredith Seiler and her husband Steve of Lock Haven, three grandchildren Jibraan Ghani, Saara Ghani, Alex Seiler, two sisters Kimberly Sue Marvin and her companion Larry of Meadville, Melissa Bessey and her husband Butch of Palmyra, NY, a brother Thomas Pyle and his wife Denise of North East, a niece and a nephew.

In addition to her parents Kathy was preceded in death by a brother William "Randy" Pyle and her beloved cat, Buddy, of 19 years.

At the family's request there will be no visitation.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Crawford County, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, PA 16335 or a charity of the donor's choice.
