Kathy A. Davis

Kathy A. Davis, 70, of Conneautville, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center. 

Kathy was born in Meadville, on August 2, 1954, a daughter of the late Ora Patton and Emma Louise (Downs) Sipos.

On October 9, 1977, Kathy married Richard M. Davis; he survives. 

She was a member of Westford United Methodist Church where she was involved with mission outreach, providing countless baked goods and crocheted baby clothes as part of her ministry. 

Kathy was a 1973 graduate of Meadville High School. She loved being a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. As a military family, they lived in countless places around the world. When her children were older, Kathy worked on base at the PX (Post Exchange) Stores. While living in Hawaii, she worked for Flora Exotica creating custom, hand made wreaths and while living in California, she worked at Snack Time. Kathy loved making all types of crafts including home decorations and crocheted items. She was a regular vendor at many area craft shows. Her family was very important to her, and she loved them dearly. She will be sadly missed. 

In addition to her husband, Richard, of nearly 47 years, Kathy is survived by four daughters Kelly Bovee (Mogan) of Sacramento, CA, Cara Hall (Bill) of Conneautville, Rondell Gordon (Michael) of Meadville, Crystal Davis of Sacramento, CA; eight grandchildren Zakary, Tyler, Cody, Jessica, Kaylee, Nethaniel, Cadence, Myah; sisters Darlene George (John) of Linesville, Bev Arthur of Conneaut Lake; a brother David Patton (Patty) of Glassbrook, NY; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, with Rev. Daniel Miller officiating.
