Kelly Ann Kedziora, 52 of Windvale Dr., Saegertown, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 29, 2012, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She passed away in her home with her loving family by her side.
Kelly was born in Meadville on March 23, 1960, a daughter of the late John and Lillian Hasenkopf.
Kelly was a 1978 graduate of Saegertown High School where she enjoyed cheer leading and playing softball. She worked as a hair stylist for over 32 years. She founded and owned The Hair Stop in Saegertown, where she was a caring, generous employer and enjoyed spending time with all of her customers. Kelly was instrumental in coordinating the establishment of the Saegertown Area Recreation Complex in memory of her late husband, Brad Rodgers, who was a former Saegertown coach. Kelly enjoyed her home and spending time with her family. She loved her gardens and digging in the dirt, as well as taking walks with her dogs. She enjoyed her weekly home Bible studies for the last 15 years as well. Kelly and her husband, Thad, took yearly vacations to the beach with their children and family and made some of her fondest memories there.
Kellys love for the Lord was evident in the way she has touch many lives by her acts of charity and mercy. Her beautiful smile, big heart and gift of helping others will never be forgotten. Her family has peace in knowing she is resting in eternity with Jesus.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Thaddeus, her two children Brad J. Rodgers II and his girlfriend Heather of Huntersville, NC, Erin R. Hruska and her husband Dan of Linesville, siblings John Hasenkopf and his wife Becky of Saegertown, Terry Hasenkopf and his wife Linda of Pittsburgh, Michael Hasenkopf and his wife Carol of Meadville, Thomas Hasenkopf and his wife Susan of Baltimore, Mary Crecraft and her husband Larry of Saegertown. Other family members whom she all loved and cherished dearly include many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kelly was preceded in death by her first husband of ten years, Brad J. Rodgers, a sister-in-law Kathy Hasenkopf, a brother-in-law James Kedziora, parents-in-law James and Betty Rodgers and Irene Kedziora.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, from 4-8 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown, and also on Thursday, May 3, from 10-11 at Saegertown United Methodist Church, 620 Euclid Ave., Saegertown, where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rod Beardsley, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Cambridge Springs, officiating.
Interment will take place in Saegertown Cemetery.
