Kenneth "Ken" A. Wagner

Kenneth A. Wagner, 79, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Meadville Medical Center.

Ken was at born at home in Geneva, on February 13, 1942, a son of the late Lawrence and Florence (McKinley) Wagner.

On September 24, 1983 Ken married Clara Jane Snyder; she survives.

For many years, Ken worked as an over the road truck driver, In his earlier years he was employed by Channellock and had also worked as a maintenance man in the housing industry. He was a graduate of Meadville High School. An active member of Franklin Myrtle Masonic Lodge #316, Ken was also a member of Saegertown American Legion Post #205 and the Linesville Sportsman's Club. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing and he loved camping with friends. For many years Ken enjoyed playing in several local bands and was a gifted musician. When he and Clara Jane were younger, they camped in different areas; in his later years they found a permanent camping spot in Linesville. Ken had a real soft spot for his American Eskimo dog, Snowball. They were best buddies.

In addition to his wife, Clara Jane, of 38 years, Ken is survived by a daughter Bernie Hamilton of Saegertown; a son Dewane Wagner of Meadville; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a half brother Frank Wagner of Sugar Lake, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by three daughters an infant Lynette Wagner, Sandra Peterson, Karen Mailliard; two grandchildren Joseph Peterson and a still born; and a half brother Phillip Post.

Family and friends are invited to call from 2-5 PM on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Masonic Service will be held at 3 PM and the Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday with Pastor Jamey Huselton officiating.

Ken will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
