Kimberly Ann Goodman, 52, of Meadville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at home.
Kim was born in Meadville, on March 5, 1969, a daughter of Ruth Ann (Hargenrader) and the late William P. Goodman.
She was an active member of The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Agatha Church. Her faith in Jesus Christ was unwavering and very important to her. Her eight year long battle as a stage four breast cancer survivor made her faith even stronger.
For many years, Kim was employed by Forest Green Children's Center. She had previously worked at Wesbury United Methodist Community. She was a 1987 graduate of Maplewood High School. Her hobbies included crocheting, scrap booking, and making jewelry. She had a fondness for the I Love Lucy Show and enjoyed collecting Lucy memorabilia. Kim had a deep love for her daughter Erin and all her nieces and nephews who were like her own. She will be dearly missed.
Kim is survived by a daughter Erin at home; her mother Ruth Ann Goodman of Meadville; and two sisters Jody Gionti (husband Joe) of Painesville, OH, and Janet Hood (husband Danny) of Saegertown, PA. Nieces and nephews include Gianna, Vincent (wife Stephanie and their daughter Evelyn), and Nikolai Gionti and Kaylee Laver (husband Ryan and their children Brayden, Gerald, and Isabella), Jimmy, Dalton, Skylar, and Payton Hood. In addition, an aunt, two uncles, and cousins. She also adored Penny, her nieces' and nephews' dog, who would come up and see her many times a day for love and treats.
In addition to her father, Kim was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Harold and Leda Hargenrader, paternal grandparents Paul and Virginia Goodman.
Family and friends are invited to call from 3-7 PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Scripture Service will be held at 6:30 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday at The Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Agatha Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, with Fr. Jeffrey Lucas, Pastor, officiating.
Kim will be laid to rest, near her dad, in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kim's memory to the funeral home.
