Laura Eileen Beatty

Laura Eileen Beatty, 71, of Meadville, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020, at home.

Laura was born in Meadville, on February 20, 1948, a daughter of the late Albert and June (Mumau) Beatty.

For several years Laura worked at Vallonia Industries and had attended First Christ Church. She enjoyed caring for her cat, watching television, traveling and going on outings with her caregiver, Marilyn.

Laura is survived by two children Laurie Lee Beatty of Cambridge Springs, David Dale Beatty of Cochranton, four sisters Dolores Henry (Donald) of Cambridge Springs, Lenora Anthony (Carl) of Cochranton, Ruth Ann Dooley (Richard) of Meadville, Beverly Ridenauer of Orlando, FL, two brothers James Beatty (Martha) of Terre Haute, IN, Allen Beatty (Marilyn) of Greenville, a sister in law Janet Beatty of Saegertown, her faithful caregiver Marilyn Knapik, her beloved cat, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by a son Roy Beatty, two brothers Gerald Beatty, Dale Beatty and a sister Sarah Corliss, two brother in laws Robert Corliss and Darwin Ridenauer.

Services will be held at a future date.

Laura will be laid to rest in Saegertown Cemetery.
