Lewis L. Graff, 88, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, passed away Friday, March 30th, 2012 at Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville.
Lewis was born in Sellersville on September 22, 1923, a son of the late Lewis J. and Ada (Wismer) Graff.
On October 29, 1949 Lewis married Mary Hosey; she preceded him in death on January 20, 2011.
He was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
In 1984 Lewis retired from the former Conrail. A US Army Veteran, Lewis served in the Infantry during WW II where he was stationed in Europe from 1943 until his honorable discharge in 1946. He was a 1942 graduate of Hawley High School and attended the University of Scranton. In his younger years, he was an avid golfer.
Lewis is survived by nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Mary, of 60 years, Lewis was preceded in death by a sister Ada Hafliger of Springdale, three brothers Albert Graff and Lloyd Graff and Harold Graff.
Services will be private.
Entombment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
